Has anyone else been following the Ricardo Daniel Fernandez case out of Vernon? I've been reading up on it, and one thing that really stands out to me is the location where it all happened—right by a homeless encampment. It's so concerning that someone could be in such a vulnerable position while just sitting in their truck. I can’t shake the feeling that being close to the encampment might have put him at risk, but I still wonder if there’s more to the story. It’s distressing that even with an officer nearby, the gunman managed to slip away without leaving a trace. I’m hoping that eventually there will be some new leads or someone might come forward with information. My heart goes out to Ricardo’s family, who must be living in agony without the answers they deserve. Let’s keep discussing and sharing anything that might help bring justice to his loved ones.
