Hi everyone,
I've been reading about Andre Joseph's case, and something that stood out to me is how much the community must have been impacted by the crime wave during that time in New Orleans. It's difficult to imagine the fear and frustration people living there must have felt, realizing so many homicides were going unsolved. I wonder how these unresolved cases affect the psychology of a community, especially when it seems like justice is always just out of reach. I've heard stories of neighborhoods banding together in the face of adversity, and I hope that there was some community solidarity for Andre's loved ones during such a difficult time. Does anyone have insights on how local communities tried to support one another despite the constant cloud of violence? Or examples of positive community initiatives that arose from this tragic period? It would be nice to think that in the midst of all this pain, people could find a way to support each other and advocate for change.
