I’ve been following the case of Ronda Ebeling and stumbled upon something that's been on my mind. I keep thinking about the phone call Ronda had going with her friend. It’s both chilling and heartbreaking to imagine what that last call must have been like. The sheer terror in her voice as things unraveled must haunt her friend to this day. The fact that her friend acted quickly and called the authorities makes me think about how vital it is to stay connected and alert to the warnings in any toxic relationship. It's a sobering reminder of how important it is to trust our instincts and those little red flags. My thoughts are with Ronda’s friend, who had to hear that and carry it with them. It just underscores how domestic violence ripples through all the lives connected to the victim, leaving scars we can't always see.
