Hey everyone, I've been following Daniel Castillo's case and something that's been on my mind is how often we hear about people being unwilling to come forward with information. I totally get that there's fear involved, especially in areas grappling with crime, but it's just so frustrating. The Westlake community could really use that bravery now more than ever. I can't imagine how hard it must be for someone who might hold a crucial piece of the puzzle to live with that knowledge daily. On the flip side, it's understandable given the risks. Does anyone know of any organized efforts in the area to support witnesses who want to speak up, maybe a community initiative or a way to offer anonymous tips securely? It might make a world of difference for Daniel's family and could even help prevent more tragedies like this. Let’s hope continued dialogues can foster trust and cooperation in communities like Westlake. Any thoughts or updates are welcome!
