Has anyone else noticed the curious detail about Jonathan's car being abandoned with Sandy inside? It strikes me as odd that he would leave his beloved dog in a locked car. He had the whole day to make a decision about crossing the border, yet he chose to leave Sandy behind. It doesn’t align with what his family says about how much he cared for her. Also, with no sign of a struggle and his phone left in the car, could it be possible he intended to return quickly or someone else was involved in him leaving the car this way? I wonder if anyone has checked for any known crossings in the area that could provide more clues. Just thinking out loud here and hoping for some new leads to emerge soon.
