Hey everyone, I wanted to share some thoughts on the impact this tragedy has had on the community, especially considering Jeremy Henness and Robert Salinas were trying to survive the harsh conditions of living on the streets. It's beyond devastating to see two lives taken so senselessly, and it brings to light the vulnerability of homeless individuals in our society. Pomona has always had a tight-knit community, and I've seen firsthand how hard local outreach groups work to provide resources and support for those without stable housing. People like Jeremy and Robert deserve to be remembered not just for how they died, but for the lives they lived and the potential they had. This case really highlights the need for better support systems for the homeless and the importance of addressing substance abuse in a compassionate manner. I'm hopeful this will spark further dialogue about how we can protect and uplift every member of our community. My heart goes out to the families and friends of both men, and I sincerely hope justice is served in this case.
