Has anyone looked into the role that local community groups might play in these unsolved cases like Joshua Brooks's? I'm always amazed by how grassroots efforts can sometimes uncover information that's been overlooked or forgotten. Back in 2011, when Joshua was tragically taken from this world, the city was in the grip of significant gun violence, and yet it feels like stories of young lives cut short sometimes get lost in all the noise. Has there been any renewed push from local organizations or neighborhood watch groups to collaborate with the police on these cold cases? Sometimes, it's the people who live in these communities who notice things that outsiders wouldn't. My heart goes out to Joshua’s family and friends—they deserve answers. Maybe if there's a unified effort, we can bring some long overdue attention to this tragic loss, alongside the many other cases that remain open. Would love to hear if anyone has updates or thoughts on this angle.
