I've been thinking about the impact of this tragedy on Joey Holtz's son, Levi. It's just so difficult to imagine what it must be like for a young child to lose a parent in such a sudden and violent way. Joey's friends and family speak so highly of him, not just as a professional and friend, but especially as a devoted father. I really hope people in the San Diego community step up to support Levi and his family during this incredibly tough time. It's alarming that the person initially arrested was released without charges. I get that the legal process is complex, but it just seems like there's still so much confusion and lack of closure. I'm keeping the Holtz family in my thoughts as they navigate through this tough and uncertain time, and I genuinely hope that new evidence or witnesses come forward soon.
