Just heard about the tragic passing of Ahmar "Marz" Willis Jr., and my heart goes out to his family and friends. I can't imagine the pain they're going through. It's absolutely devastating to lose someone so young with a full life ahead. I read that two juvenile suspects were caught, thanks to surveillance footage, but I still can’t wrap my head around why these senseless acts of gun violence keep happening, especially to our youth. It's terrifying to think this took place at a school event—a place we should all feel safe. I hope this community can come together to support each other during this difficult time and work towards preventing such terrible incidents from continuing. We've got to do better for our kids. If anyone knows how we can support Ahmar’s family, please share it here. They need all the love and strength we can offer right now.

I’ve been following the case of Ahmar Duboise Willis Jr. through various updates, and one thing that really struck me is the incredible role the surveillance footage played in identifying the suspects. It's haunting to think of the kids caught up in the chaos, hiding in the gym, just trying to stay safe. It's chilling to know how quickly these situations can go from normal to life-threatening. The police seem to have worked relentlessly to track down the suspects, and it's some relief to know that there’s a bit of accountability starting. Still, my thoughts keep circling back to how this entire ordeal will affect the students at Armijo High School. Experiencing something so traumatic at such a young age can be incredibly overwhelming. I can't imagine how terrifying it must have been for them and for the families of everyone involved. I truly hope the school and community continue to support the students now and in the future. It just breaks my heart to see another promising young life cut short from this world.

I've been following the discussions around Ahmar's tragic death, and one thing that really stands out to me is the impact it's had on the students at Armijo High School. It's truly gut-wrenching to think about those young people dealing with something so traumatic in a place that's supposed to feel safe. I read that counselors were brought in to help the students cope, but it makes me wonder how long the effects of that night will linger for those kids. Witnessing such violence can leave a lasting mark, and I can only hope the community continues to support them in the long run. My heart goes out to all those affected, especially Ahmar's family and friends. It's such a stark reminder of the urgent need to address the gun violence that puts so many young lives at risk.
