It's clear they did everything they could in the most stressful situation imaginable. It’s important to acknowledge how traumatic this must have been for them, losing a friend in such a way. I hope they are getting support and that people understand the depth of what they went through. The fact that they called 911 and coordinated with emergency services shows remarkable presence of mind. My heart goes out to all of Darlene’s loved ones as they navigate through this difficult time, and I'm hoping there will soon be justice and some semblance of closure for everyone involved.
