Hey everyone, I've been following Kevin Dwayne Lemonds' case, and something's been kind of gnawing at me. Does anyone else find it strange that his car was found at a roadside park with a note, but they didn't discover any other belongings of his nearby? I mean, typically when someone plans a trip to the store, they might have their wallet or phone with them, right? Was there any mention of these items being in the car or how they didn't become part of the investigation to track his movements? Maybe they were used to try and trace his steps before he vanished? Just thought I'd throw that out there in case anyone has any insights or updates on this angle. It's like there's this gap that might tell us more if they dig into what might have gone missing with him.

Did they even determine if the note was written by him?

Has anyone else looked into the weather conditions around the time Kevin Lemonds disappeared? I read somewhere that the weather can sometimes affect how search operations are conducted, and I'm curious if this might have been a factor. August in Texas can be pretty brutal in terms of heat, and I'm wondering if it might have impacted the search efforts or provided some clue that wasn't immediately obvious at the time. Also, if the weather was extreme, it could influence where Kevin might have sought shelter or gone. Would love to know if anyone has more insight or thoughts on this angle.
