Does anyone have any insight into the resources available for missing adult cases like John's in Portland? I know sometimes there's a disparity between the response to missing children and missing adults, especially when there's no immediate evidence of foul play. It's frustrating how quickly cases can cool off without new leads. I wonder if there are any local advocacy groups or community efforts to keep cases like his in the public eye. It's tough watching cases go cold when it feels like more could be done to keep the momentum going. Any thoughts or similar cases come to mind?

I recently came across John's case while browsing through NamUs, and it really got me thinking about the small details that might seem insignificant but could be crucial. One thing I’m curious about is his social media activity around the time he disappeared. Did anyone look into whether he posted anything unusual or out-of-character in the days leading up to August 15, 2016? Sometimes friends or family can catch odd vibes or unusual patterns that might offer some insights. Also, what about the route he might have taken if he was planning to go somewhere specific that day? It would be interesting to know if any of his usual haunts were checked for possible CCTV footage at the time. Maybe retracing his digital footprint could jog some helpful memories from people who might have interacted with him online. Thoughts or insights on this?

Did anyone else notice there's been very little media coverage on John Lysen's case? It's like he just vanished without a trace, and the info out there is sparse at best. I know cases can go cold, but you'd think there would be more updates after all these years. With Portland being such a bustling place, someone had to have seen something back in August 2016. I'm curious if local news or community boards have picked up any leads that haven't made it to the bigger outlets. If anyone's local to the area and could keep us updated, it would be appreciated! His family deserves answers.
