Does anyone have any insight into why Gordon Rowell might have fled the scene and disappeared into the woods after his accident? It's puzzling me why someone would do that, especially just 2 days after being released on parole. I get he had legal issues before, but surely there might have been something more happening that day we don't know about. I remember reading something a while back about people sometimes running due to shock or disorientation after an accident. Could that have been the case here? The whole scenario where he just vanished without a trace points to there being more than meets the eye. If anyone has come across similar cases or has thoughts on what might compel someone to run like that, I'd be curious to hear them!

Has anyone looked into the angle of the vehicle accident more closely? I find it curious that Gordon Christopher Rowell was in an accident just before disappearing. Maybe there's more to the story about what led to that crash on Buck Swamp Road. Accidents can happen for numerous reasons—maybe it was something as simple as trying to avoid hitting an animal, or maybe there was a mechanical issue with the car. But there's also the chance it wasn't an accident at all. Could it have been staged, or was someone else involved? Has anyone come across witnesses who might have seen more of what happened before or during the accident? Understanding the circumstances of that crash might be key in figuring out why he fled into the woods and disappeared.
