I came across an article about Matthew Tidwell's case, and it's just so hard to believe how things initially unfolded. At first, it seemed like it was a tragic accident, but to find out he was actually shot is just chilling. It got me thinking about how crucial those first hours and days in an investigation are, especially when things aren't what they appear. It's so sad that the early classification as a hit-and-run might have slowed down the investigation. I can't imagine what his family must be going through, having to cope with not just his loss, but also the mystery surrounding it. I really hope the community can come together and help law enforcement find the people responsible. It seems like the Sheriff's Office is doing everything they can, and it’s a stark reminder of how much we rely on each other to find justice. If anyone on here is from the area, please keep spreading the word and encouraging people to come forward with any information. Sometimes it's the smallest detail that can crack a case wide open.
