Hey everyone, I want to bring up something that's been really on my mind about Efren Almaraz's case—the impact on his family and how they're holding up. It’s been over four years since Efren was senselessly taken, and I can’t even imagine how hard it must be for his loved ones. They've been stuck in this agonizing limbo, waiting for answers and justice, all while dealing with their immense grief. From what I've read, Efren was loved by many, and I get the feeling that his family has a strong support network. Yet, it seems like they haven't had a lot of updates from the authorities recently. I really hope they have resources and support from the community to help them through this incredibly difficult time. It's so vital for them to know that Efren hasn’t been forgotten and that people still care about finding those responsible. Downey residents, do you know if there have been any recent community efforts or vigils to keep Efren's memory alive and push for justice? These actions can make a huge difference. Let’s keep the discussion going and any thoughts or ideas on how we can help, even if it’s just by spreading awareness, would be greatly appreciated.
