It's incredibly concerning how someone could flee so far, raising questions about whether they had any outside help or if they were planning this escape in advance. As the investigation moves forward, I hope the authorities are thoroughly looking into their movements right after the incident. It must be terribly difficult for the families of Margarita and Jose to cope with their loss while also grappling with the uncertainty surrounding why and how this all unfolded. I can't stop thinking about the impact this must have had on the community of Yuba City. Margarita Contreras was 73 and probably so beloved by those who knew her. Setting up a memorial outside her home seems like a touching way for the community to honor and remember her. It just breaks my heart to see how senseless violence can affect a community so deeply. I’m particularly interested in how the police are handling the investigation, especially with the details they've been following up on in Los Angeles. It makes me wonder what kind of life Diego and his mother led before this, and what could drive someone so young to such drastic actions. My thoughts go out to everyone mourning Margarita and Jose. ?
