Has anyone else been following the investigation into Ernest Carter’s murder? I've been thinking a lot about the timing of the incident. It happened so soon after the Fourth of July celebrations, and I can’t help but wonder if the noise from the fireworks might have masked the gunshots. That intersection near Fresno Pacific University must have been bustling with people either leaving the celebrations or heading home. It's just awful to think how quickly a night of celebration can turn into such a tragedy. My heart goes out to Ernest's family and the other victims. I hope the heightened awareness from this case pushes for more preventive measures in our community. What are your thoughts on how the city can address these violence issues more effectively?
