Does anyone else find it troubling how little information has come out about the murder of Awki Hanifshukre Wilds? It's been months, and we still don’t know much about who might have been involved or why someone would target him. Awki was a resident of Compton, and I can't help but think about how his community is coping with yet another loss due to violence. I imagine his family and friends are desperate for answers and that they, along with the rest of us, are frustrated by the lack of progress reported publicly. It’s so important for anyone who knows anything, no matter how small it might seem, to speak up. Every piece of information could potentially help bring some closure to those who loved him and make the community a bit safer. Let's keep talking about Awki and continue to support efforts to find justice for him.
