Just thinking about the Watts community and how they're holding up after Cristian Alberto Peralta's murder. It's such a terrible loss for everyone who knew him. I read through some local forums and it seems like people are still pretty shaken up about it. It's so sad that this happened to someone just going about their life. I wonder if there have been any community initiatives or vigils in his memory? Sometimes neighborhoods come together after tragedies, but in this case, I haven’t heard much aside from the ongoing investigation updates. If anyone knows more about how the community is coming together or any efforts to help Cristian’s family through this difficult time, it’d be great to hear about it. It’s just such a helpless feeling not being able to do more, you know? It’s frustrating that they haven’t found anyone responsible yet. I really hope justice is served and that the LAPD gets the breakthrough they need. Keeping Cristian's family and friends in my thoughts.
