I'm really disturbed by what happened to Susie and the others that day. It’s beyond troubling that someone who was supposed to care about her turned into a threat. Can you imagine being in her position, just trying to do her job, and suddenly being caught in such a terrifying situation? It's just a reminder that we never really know what someone might do, even if we think we know them. My heart goes out to her kids and family. They must be going through such an indescribable pain right now. It's hard to wrap my head around how anyone can be so consumed with their own issues that they cause this kind of destruction. I hope Zaragoza gets what he deserves and that the families affected find some form of justice and peace. Has anyone heard any recent updates on her family's fundraising efforts? I'd like to help out if I can.
I’m so deeply sorry for Susie’s family and everyone affected by this awful tragedy. Having read more about the incident, I can’t help but think about the strength it must have taken for Azucena "Susie" Lepe’s family to push forward, especially since they had to suddenly crowdfund her funeral expenses. In times of such unimaginable loss, it’s heartbreaking to think that families have to worry about financial matters on top of their grief.
I wonder if there was any other support provided to the family following this nightmare, like from community organizations or local outreach beyond the fundraising page? It’s crucial in times like this for communities to come together and support one another, both emotionally and practically. It’s just so tragic that these events have left such a lasting impact on so many.
I’ve been thinking about all the lives affected by Zaragoza's horrific crime spree, especially Azucena "Susie" Lepe's family. I can't imagine the pain her children must be going through, losing their mom so suddenly and violently. Susie was just trying to do her job, and it’s gut-wrenching to think that someone she knew and dated could do this to her.
I also read about her family's efforts to raise funds for her funeral, and it’s just heartbreaking that they have to deal with not only the emotional toll but the financial burden as well. If anyone has any information about local community support or how the family is doing now, I’d be interested to hear about it. It would be nice to know if they’re getting the help and support they need during such a difficult time.
