Has anyone else wondered about the timeline of Krista's car being found in Taos, NM? It seems odd that her Avalon just sat there for so long before anyone noticed. Did it actually arrive there right after her last communication in April 2017, or could it have been moved later? It’s peculiar that it was sitting in an apartment complex, which you'd think would be busy enough for someone to notice it sooner.
Considering her belongings were still inside and no signs of a struggle, it’s almost like she vanished out of thin air. I know it might be a long shot, but I keep thinking about whether anyone in that apartment complex reported anything unusual during those months the car was parked there. Maybe there's someone out there who saw something but didn't put two and two together at the time. The fact this case is still open just shows how desperately any little piece of info could be crucial.
If anyone in this forum is from the Taos area or has connections there, it might be worth spreading the word and seeing if anything new surfaces.
Does anyone else find it strange how Krista's car ended up in Taos, New Mexico, even though she was reportedly last seen in Fort Garland, Colorado? The distance between these locations is roughly a three-hour drive. Given the timeline, it's puzzling why her car was left at an apartment complex in Taos for months before being discovered. Why there, of all places? It makes me wonder if someone else drove it there or if there was a change in her plans that no one knew about. Also, the fact that some of her belongings were still inside the car yet offered no clues leaves me with so many questions. It’s like she just vanished. Has anyone heard if the authorities have checked nearby businesses or surveillance footage that might give clues about how the car got there? ?
Wow, has anyone else noticed how odd it is that Krista's car sat in that Taos apartment complex for so long before anyone reported it? I mean, wouldn't neighbors or someone in the complex have noticed a car that hadn’t been moved in months? It's as if it was just another piece of the scenery. It makes me wonder if whoever left it there actually lived nearby or had some sort of connection to that place. It just seems bizarre that it stayed there for so long without raising any red flags. Does anyone from the Taos area recall anything around that time? Maybe someone saw something unusual! Also, I'm curious about what belongings were found in the car. It's chilling to think they might hold some sort of key or clue!
