Hey everyone,
I've been following Don Maurice Storey III's case and wanted to talk a bit about the impact on the community. It's just so distressing how this has affected not only his family but also the people living nearby. I read that neighbors were quite shaken, with many expressing concerns about the rising violence in the area. Community members have said they're worried for their own safety, and it's such a tough situation—people just trying to live their lives, now feeling so uncertain and afraid.
It's really moving to see how local activists have been stepping up, though. They've been organizing events and vigils, not just to keep Don's memory alive, but to rally the community together in hopes of finding justice. It's a powerful testament to how people can unite in times of hardship, but I can't help but feel for everyone involved, including those who witnessed the aftermath or heard the shots that evening. The emotional toll must be tremendous.
If anyone has more insights or updates on efforts to support DON's family or the community, please share. It's crucial we keep talking about these issues and supporting one another where we can.
Stay safe, everyone.
I’ve been reading up on Don Maurice Storey III’s case, and there’s something that’s been puzzling me. It was mentioned that a vehicle was seen speeding away from the scene. Has there been any update on that? Did anyone manage to identify the make or model of the car?
It’s so frustrating to think that this could be such a significant clue, and yet here we are, years later, with no arrests. I can’t imagine what his family is going through, knowing there might be answers out there but feeling stuck in limbo. It seems like there should be some surveillance footage in that area; it’s downtown after all. I really hope someone who knows something steps forward. This family deserves closure.
