Has anyone else been following the Vineet Maharaj case? I've been particularly interested in the role technology plays in cases like this, especially with ShotSpotter being the big hero in alerting police to the gunfire. It must have been terrifying for those nearby to hear a barrage of 13 shots — I can't even imagine it. While we've seen tech like this help in getting leads quicker, it still feels like sometimes it's not enough to move investigations forward significantly. Does anyone know if other areas have had more success with such technology in helping catch suspects sooner? Hoping for justice for Vineet's family and the Harris family too. It's tragic that we still don't have answers after all this time.
