Did anyone see the recent segment on Darren Jermaine "Fat Man" Banks’s case? I caught it last night, and it really stuck with me. It’s such a tough reminder of how quickly someone's life can change, or end, in the blink of an eye. January 6, 2012, seems like it wasn’t that long ago, yet here we are, with no answers still. I can’t even imagine the pain his family must still be going through, not having the closure they desperately need. I find it so unsettling that there’s still no clear suspect or motive. It makes me wonder if it was a chance encounter or something more deliberate. Has anyone from around Baton Rouge heard anything on the grapevine? Any rumors or stories that never made the news? Darren was so young, and it’s just haunting how these cases sometimes fade from the public eye, yet the families have to live with the loss every day. Hoping more people come forward with any information they might have, no matter how small. Every little bit could help bring some peace to those who knew and loved Darren.
