I’ve been thinking a lot about how the community is honoring Gracie's memory and wanted to share some thoughts. It’s incredibly touching to see how many people have rallied around Gracie's family in such a supportive way. The GoFundMe campaign is a testament to the compassion of our community and how willing people are to help in times of need. It’s a stark reminder of how in moments of such overwhelming tragedy, goodness and kindness can still shine through. I feel it's crucial to also talk about the importance of the mental health resources being provided to the students and staff after the tragedy. As a community, supporting each other emotionally and psychologically is just as vital as any financial contributions. It’s heartening to see those resources being prioritized. We all need to continue checking in on one another, making sure voices are heard and feelings are shared. Gracie would be proud, I’m sure, of how her memory is being honored through this unity and love. Sending all my love to the Muehlberger family and to everyone out there feeling the weight of this loss. Let’s keep talking, sharing, and making sure that Gracie’s light continues to guide us towards better days.
