Hey everyone, I’ve been following Gabriel Ramos Martinez's case pretty closely and I came across something that might be relevant. Has anyone else looked into the issues surrounding jurisdiction in cases that span the U.S.-Mexico border? From what I'm gathering, it seems like these obstacles can really slow down investigations. Considering Gabriel went missing in an area right at the border, I'm wondering how much coordination has been happening between authorities on both sides. Does anybody know if there have been complications in sharing investigative resources or information between the two countries in other similar cases? Understanding these bureaucratic challenges might give us some insight into why there hasn’t been more progress in finding him. Any thoughts or info you all can share?

I've been thinking a lot about the geography involved in Gabriel Ramos Martinez's case. The fact that he was last seen around the Eagle Pass and Piedras Negras area makes it incredibly complex. This region is notorious for its blurred lines when it comes to jurisdiction because it straddles the U.S.-Mexico border. It must be a logistical nightmare for investigators trying to coordinate between two countries with different legal systems and resources. Has anyone come across any cases that were solved that had similar issues with jurisdiction? Or any updates on whether there have been new collaborations between the local authorities on both sides? Hoping that keeping the conversation going will somehow bring more attention to it. Such a challenging situation for his family.
