I've been following Hasan's case since it happened, and it's just so unsettling to think about how someone so young could be taken away in such a violent manner. I can't imagine the pain his family is going through, especially having to relive everything during the trial. I came across some discussions where people were highlighting how the community has been trying to rally against youth violence, but it feels like there's still so much more that needs to be done. It's terrifying to think that someone with Jacobi's past was out on the streets. I understand there's a systemic issue when it comes to handling young offenders, but maybe this case will push for stricter measures or more intervention programs. My heart goes out to all of Hasan’s loved ones. His story has definitely left an impact on Oakland and serves as a wake-up call for many.
