Hey everyone, I’ve been following the tragic event on the Greyhound bus and wanted to bring something up. Has anyone looked into the route that the bus was taking that night? I was thinking about how isolated that stretch of Interstate 5 is, and it’s terrifying to imagine being in such a vulnerable position, especially in the dead of night. I can’t stop thinking about Lurbis’s family and how they must be feeling, knowing she was caught in such a random, senseless act of violence far from home. It’s haunting. Also, major kudos to those passengers and the driver for their quick actions. I can’t imagine the courage it took to step up in such a dangerous situation. My heart goes out to all the families affected by this tragedy. Anyone else have thoughts on the route or the responses from authorities?
I’ve been following the Lebec Greyhound bus shooting case closely, and it's incredibly sad to read about what happened to Lurbis Elena Vence. While my heart goes out to all the victims and their families, what's remarkable is how the bus driver and passengers managed to act so quickly to subdue Anthony Devonte Williams. Just think about the sheer panic and terror they must have felt, yet they found the courage to disarm him. I can’t imagine how difficult it must be for them to relive these moments, and it truly speaks to the strength and resilience of the human spirit. Hopefully, sharing these stories honors Vence's memory and reminds us all of the bravery shown that night.

Lurbis Elena Vence's death is an unimaginable loss, and my heart goes out to her family and everyone who loved her.
