Has anyone else been following Eswin Eduardo Batres' case closely? It's really upsetting to think about how someone so cherished in his community was taken in such a cruel manner. I recently read that some community organizations in Inglewood have been rallying to support his family and raise awareness about gun violence. It's promising to see people coming together in the aftermath of such a tragedy. I can't even imagine what his family and friends must be going through. Has there been any update from the police on new evidence or leads in the past few weeks? It would be a little comforting to know they are making progress, and maybe Batres' loved ones can eventually have some sense of peace. Let’s keep his memory alive and hope for justice.
Hey everyone,
I’ve been following the Eswin Eduardo Batres case closely, and something that’s really been nagging at me is the lack of reported witnesses despite it happening at a major intersection like 108th Street and Crenshaw Boulevard. I can't help but wonder if there were people nearby who might have seen or heard something but perhaps didn't realize its importance at the time.
I know it was a tragic event that probably unfolded quickly, but given how busy that area can get, especially on a Saturday, it’s hard to believe that no one has come forward with more detailed information. It would be helpful if anyone recalls being in the area around that time, or if they’ve heard anything since then that could be useful to the investigation. Even the smallest detail might help put the pieces together.
My heart goes out to Eswin’s family and friends who are still seeking answers. It must be incredibly difficult to face each day without knowing what truly happened. If anyone has information, no matter how small it seems, please consider reaching out to the authorities. It’s vital for justice and closure.
Stay safe, everyone. Hug your loved ones a little tighter tonight.
