Clifford Ross was in the wrong, and I say that because I was there and witnessed what happened firsthand. I am his ex wife, and on that day I opened my front door only because I wanted to talk to him and try to calm him down before the situation got worse. Instead of respecting my home or leaving, he forced his way inside without my permission. The man I was dealing with had locked himself inside the bedroom, but Clifford wasn’t trying to talk or peacefully resolve anything. He was armed with a gun and intentionally went after him. Clifford violently broke down the locked bedroom door with a gun in his hand, trying to get to the man inside. The moment he forced his way into that room, a struggle broke out because the man was fighting for his life. Clifford tried to shoot him, but during the struggle the man grabbed the gun and forced it away from his own face and body to keep himself from being shot. While they were fighting over control of the weapon, the gun discharged and Clifford was shot. That is why I have always said Clifford was never the victim in the way people try to make him out to be. The only reason he became the victim was because he was the one who ended up being shot after creating the entire situation himself. If Clifford had never forced his way into my home, broke in a locked bedroom door head first and never entered that room with a gun intending to confront and kill the man inside, none of this would have happened. Everything that occurred was a direct result of Clifford’s own choices and actions. The fact that the other man later accepted a plea deal for involuntary manslaughter does not change what actually happened or what I witnessed with my own eyes. Plea agreements happen for many different reasons, but they do not rewrite the truth. From the very beginning, Clifford was the aggressor, he initiated the violence, and he created the circumstances that led to his own death. In my opinion, based on everything I personally witnessed, Clifford Ross was 1000% in the wrong.

I love you David I’m sorry you had to go through all of this

I've been following Clifford Ross's case closely, and my heart goes out to his family, who are living with this immense loss every day. I've seen mentions of how Clifford was well-known in his community, especially for his work with local youth organizations. It's genuinely devastating to think of all the lives he touched and the positive impact he had, especially on young people who looked up to him as a mentor. The ripple effect of his loss must be so deeply felt beyond just his immediate family. I'm hoping that anyone who knows anything will step forward to help shed more light on this tragic night. It’s crucial that every piece of the puzzle is put together for justice to be fully served.

Did anyone else dig into the background of David King? I find it so unsettling that someone with a criminal record and who shouldn't have had a gun was right in the middle of such a volatile situation. It's truly devastating for Clifford Ross's family to have lost him in this way. I can't help but wonder if there were any warning signs or red flags before this night. The presence of firearms in these kinds of personal conflicts just seems to escalate things so drastically. It's deeply saddening to see yet another life lost to this kind of violence. My thoughts are with Clifford's loved ones as they navigate this incredibly difficult time. Would love to hear if anyone has more details on the history or background behind this whole situation.

Hey everyone, I've been closely following the case of Clifford Ross's murder, and something that's been really bothering me is how conflicts can escalate so quickly and unexpectedly. It's truly devastating how a disagreement turned into a life-ending event. From what I've read, Clifford went to the apartment that night without any intent to harm anyone, but tensions ran high, and it ended in tragedy. I feel for his family and friends who have lost someone dear to them so suddenly, and I can't imagine the pain of such a loss.
The sad reality is that situations like these aren't all that uncommon, and it raises so many questions about what could help prevent these heated moments from turning violent. Maybe there needs to be more awareness or mediation resources for people navigating difficult emotional territories post-divorce? It's just heartbreaking to see an argument fine line deteriorate into such irreversible actions.
If anyone here is from the area, I’m curious to know whether there are discussions taking place in the community about how to avoid situations like this from happening in the future. Sending strength to those who knew Clifford and are dealing with his untimely passing. Stay safe, everyone.

Ross showed up with a gun, broke down two doors, got his gun taken from him, and ended up getting killed with his own weapon. He was a gangbanger from Grape Street, known in his hood but that didn’t save him. That’s what happens when you F around and find out. Why break down doors at your ex-wife’s house like that, especially when you’ve got a girlfriend at home? That kind of reckless behavior, fueled by emotion and ego, is what leads to situations like this. Once you bring a gun into it, there’s no controlling how it ends.
