I keep coming back to the lack of forced entry in Sandra's case. It makes you wonder, doesn't it? It seems like whoever did this might have been someone she trusted enough to let in—or at least someone who knew the layout of their home well. On top of that, with Mother's Day Weekend being such a special time, it's chilling to think that someone could commit such a violent crime during what should be a moment of familial peace and celebration. I can't help but feel for her family and friends who must be dealing with endless questions and heartbreak. I also wonder how heavily gunshot residue weighed on the investigation, given no shots were reported by neighbors. Has there been any recent progress outside of what's been covered in the news? Anyone have any local insights or updates on the Crimestoppers' tip line response? Keeping Sandra and her family in my thoughts, hoping they find some closure soon.
