I’ve been following Magali Alberto’s case ever since that awful day in April 2020. What really sticks with me is the randomness and tragedy of it all. Magali was just a mom driving home after a family birthday party, not bothering anyone, and then her life is suddenly stolen away by a senseless act of violence. I've heard she was incredibly devoted to her child, and it’s heartbreaking to think of what that little one will go through without their mom. The arrest of the three suspects, Spencer, Adams, and Robinson, does bring some relief, but it doesn’t erase the pain or loss experienced by her loved ones. It’s still shocking how people disconnected from each other can have their lives intertwined in such a devastating way. There’s no link between Magali and these guys—just the misfortune of being in the wrong place at the wrong time. I hope these legal proceedings bring some justice and that the community can start healing. This case makes it evident how urgent it is for solutions to gang violence, so no more families have to endure this kind of suffering. I’m sending strength and support to Magali’s family and hope they find some peace in the justice process.
