I can't stop thinking about the police work in this case. Kudos to the Torrance PD for quickly identifying and apprehending Freddie Moran and Cristian Contreras. It’s undoubtedly not a job any of us envy, but it’s a relief that Daniel Armendariz's family didn’t have to wait years for answers. It makes me hopeful that, despite the tragic nature of this crime, there’s a chance for healing through justice. Has anyone else followed similar cases and noticed how vital community involvement is in aiding investigations? I can't imagine how hard it is to step forward as a witness or provide information, but every piece of evidence can make such a huge difference. Daniel's story and the swift response remind us how interconnected we are in maintaining a safe and supportive community. Keeping his loved ones in my thoughts and hoping that the proceedings continue to honor his memory.
