I can't stop thinking about the courageous actions of Duran McDowall during that dreadful night on Bandolero Way. It's truly devastating to hear how he stepped in to protect someone who couldn't defend themselves. From what I've read, McDowall didn't even hesitate to act when the homeowner fell. It's rare to see such selflessness, especially in a moment of chaos like that. It's infuriating that his attempt to diffuse the situation cost him his life. I can’t imagine what his family must be going through right now, knowing he was just trying to do the right thing. His bravery should be remembered, and I hope we can all reflect on how a small act of courage can come with such immense risk. Sending lots of love to those who knew him.
