Does anyone else find it incredibly chilling how public and brazen these acts of violence can be? I can't imagine the fear that must grip a community when shootings occur in such common places like gas stations. John Ellis and Robert Lockhart were just two young men who didn't deserve to be caught up in this madness. It's comforting to know that "Operation No Fly Zone" is trying to make a dent in this kind of organized crime, but the pain for their families must be so overwhelming right now. Hopefully, with the community’s help, the person responsible for this senseless act will be brought to justice. It's small comfort, but maybe it can prevent other families from experiencing such a profound loss. Holding thoughts of peace and justice for John's family, friends, and all impacted by this tragedy.
