I’ve been following the Archie Harris case closely, and something that really sticks with me is how his plans to improve his life and his children's lives were cut short in such a senseless act of violence. It's truly devastating that he was taken away right at a moment where he seemed to be looking towards a brighter future. From what I’ve read, it struck me how his family spoke about his hopes and dreams, making it clear that he was working towards positive changes. It makes you think about the enormous impact a single act of violence has on not just the immediate family but the community as a whole. I can't help but feel for his family, who now have to come to grips with this loss and pursue a path forward without him. Let's hope they find some peace and strength through this difficult time. My heart goes out to all who knew and loved him.

Hey everyone, I’ve been following the Archie Harris case and recently read about the impact his death had on his family and the community. What really got me was learning about the vigil held in his honor where another person ended up being shot. It’s just so tragic that an event meant to celebrate Archie’s life and bring people together in solidarity turned into another scene of violence. It makes me think about how these communities are grieving multiple losses and dealing with trauma on top of trauma. I can't even imagine how difficult it must be for Harris' loved ones to find peace when these cycles of violence continue, even when they're just trying to remember someone dear to them. Hoping for healing and justice for the community, and that they find ways to honor Archie’s memory that bring peace and unity. Would love to hear thoughts on how communities can better support each other in times like these. Stay safe everyone.
