Hey everyone, I’ve been following Oscar’s case for a while now, and one thing that really sticks out to me is the location where the tragedy happened—near 828 S. Carondelet St. It's crazy to think about how a seemingly regular place can become the site of such a horrific act. I can’t even imagine how Oscar’s family must feel, knowing that he was taken from them in a spot they probably never even gave a second thought to before all of this. Does anyone here know if there's been any change in the area's safety since then? I wonder if there have been efforts to make the neighborhood any safer, or if there's still a real concern for gun violence there. It just feels so important for the community to not only remember Oscar but also push for changes to prevent something like this from happening again. Sending thoughts to Oscar’s family and friends as they continue to seek justice. Stay safe, everyone.

Has anyone else been following the developments in Oscar's case? I keep hoping for a break in the investigation, but it seems strangely quiet. It’s like he’s just become another statistic. I can’t imagine what his family must be feeling, knowing that his killer is still out there. If anyone has been in the Westlake area, have you noticed if there’s been more police presence or community efforts launched to tackle this kind of violence? It would be comforting to think that there are moves towards preventing such tragedies from happening again. RIP, Oscar. May justice be served soon.
