Hey everyone, I've been following the case of Deshawn Lee Ford, and my heart goes out to his family and friends. It's frustrating how sometimes these cases seem to stall after the initial investigation. I was thinking about how the lack of witnesses complicates everything. It's like, even in a populated city like LA, crimes can still happen in such an isolating way. I've read about areas close to Exposition Park where people are hesitant to speak out because of fear of retaliation or just a general distrust in the system. It’s understandable but so disheartening. I've seen other community efforts trying to bring some attention back to these cases that have gone cold, like rallies and vigils. Maybe there’s something more that can be done to encourage people to share what they know? Even years later, any small piece of information could help. Let’s all keep talking about this and see if we can help Deshawn’s family find some semblance of peace. Any thoughts or ideas about community involvement or how to get the word out?
