Has anyone else noticed the pattern of missing persons in Houston during the summer months? It seems like there's always a spike, and Ronnie Spears’ case is a chilling reminder. He disappeared on June 21, 2020, right in the middle of what seems to be a recurring uptick in missing person cases. I’ve been thinking a lot about how weather or even larger gatherings during the summer might contribute to this pattern. Have there been any studies or reports on why this spike happens or if police are tracking this trend? I wonder if increased community events or heat could play a role. It's frustrating to think that more awareness about these trends could potentially help prevent some of these cases. If anyone has insights or knows more, please share.
