Hey everyone, I've been following the case of Leemo Tagaleoo and just can't shake the feeling that justice wasn't fully served, even with Perkins' plea deal. While I understand mistakes were made and there's no bringing Leemo back, 15 years just feels insufficient given the circumstances. I've heard that plea deals are often used to avoid lengthy trials and secure a conviction, but knowing that someone can potentially walk free after taking a life is hard to digest. Has anyone here seen similar cases where a plea felt like it didn’t fit the crime, or any insight on how the families typically cope with such outcomes? Sending love and strength to Leemo's family and friends during this tough period.
