Bernard's story has hit me hard, especially when thinking about the vibrant community in Oakland that has been rallying around his memory. I was reading up on the gatherings held at Mountain View Cemetery, and it's moving to see how his community has come together to keep his spirit alive. It feels like these memorials have become a crucial part of the grieving process, not just for his family, but for everyone who knew him. I've noticed that these gatherings aren't just about mourning; they're also acts of resistance and solidarity. The way his loved ones are pushing for answers and using these events to apply pressure on law enforcement shows the depth of their determination. It’s a reminder of how powerful community support can be in seeking justice. My thoughts go out to Bernard’s family and friends as they continue this difficult journey. Here's hoping for some breakthroughs soon – they deserve that closure.
