Was anyone else moved by how the community came together after Alejandra's tragic passing? I read that her friends and family organized a vigil near the taco truck where the incident happened, and it seems like there was such an outpouring of love and support. It's devastating that Alejandra, who just wanted to grab some food, had her life cut short in such a senseless way. But seeing how people rallied together, from crafting heartfelt messages to leaving flowers, candles, and photos at the site, gives me hope that we can stand against violence and honor the memories of those we’ve lost. It feels like the community is saying, “We won’t forget you, Alejandra.” I just wish that more could be done to prevent these tragic losses in the first place. Anyone have thoughts or updates on what the neighborhood is doing now to stay safe and support each other?
