I've been following this case closely and can't stop thinking about how lucky it was that the surveillance footage picked up the license plate. It's so unsettling to think about how easily these criminals might have escaped justice if not for that one crucial piece of evidence. My heart goes out to Gregory Sean Aguilar's family and friends. They deserve some peace knowing that at least one of the perpetrators has been held accountable. It's a small comfort, but it shows the importance of technology in solving these horrifying crimes. For anyone in the Bakersfield area, please keep your eyes and ears open. If you know something, say something. Every little piece of information can make a big difference in ensuring justice is fully served.
