Does anyone else find it incredibly frustrating that there have still been no significant leads in the tragic murder of Jabree Hakeem Magee? It's been almost three years, and yet we're left without answers or justice for his family. The fact that this happened in such a busy area as Baldwin Hills/Crenshaw makes it all the more confounding. How can there be no witnesses or cameras that captured anything? I can't imagine the pain his loved ones must be enduring, with no closure or sense of security. It raises so many concerns about safety and the lack of effective measures to address gun violence in our communities. What more can we do as a community to ensure this doesn’t keep happening? Sending my thoughts to Jabree’s family and hoping for a breakthrough soon. If anyone has ideas on how we can support the investigation or raise awareness, please share.

I’ve been following the Jabree Hakeem Magee case for a bit now, and one aspect that keeps weighing on my mind is the location of the shooting—near 3535 S. La Cienega Blvd. I drive through the Baldwin Hills/Crenshaw area pretty often, and it’s unsettling to think that such a tragic event happened in a place so familiar to many of us. It's deeply concerning that despite being a public area, there seem to be no witnesses or at least none willing to come forward. I understand it's intimidating, but imagine what could be done if someone just had that one piece of information to help LA detectives. It really makes you think about the broader issues, like community safety and how we all need to work together to tackle these challenges. If there's anyone out there who knows something—anything—I really hope they summon the courage to speak up. Jabree's family and friends deserve to find out what happened, and we as a community owe it to them to do our part. Let's hope for some new developments soon.

I was just reading about the tragic loss of Jabree Hakeem Magee and wanted to share a thought that’s been weighing on my mind. It's truly devastating to see another life lost to gun violence in our communities, and it's even more concerning how little progress seems to have been made in solving this case. I came across a piece mentioning the area around 3535 S. La Cienega Blvd. where the incident happened, and it's heartening to see some community members rallying together to push for increased surveillance and community patrols. I can only imagine the heartbreak his family and friends are enduring, and I really hope these efforts lead to some momentum in the case. It's important for all of us to keep sharing information and encouraging dialogue, so anyone who knows something is moved to step forward. If there's anything we as a community can do to support, I’m willing to participate. Does anyone have updates on any community meetings or vigils being organized, or how we might get involved in supporting safer neighborhoods?
