I'm still trying to wrap my head around the tragedy of Hector Javier Hernandez's death. It's devastating to think that two young men lost their lives with so many unanswered questions still swirling around. What I can't get over is how events like the one on Walerga Road can leave communities feeling so vulnerable. It makes me wonder if anyone in the area noticed something unusual that day, however small or insignificant it might have seemed at the time—but enough to help piece this puzzle together.
Given how deeply Antelope has been affected, I really hope people continue to come forward with any info they might have. Holding onto even the tiniest bit of detail could make all the difference to Hector and Elias's families as they seek justice. It's so important we all remain vigilant and support each other in making sure the memories of Hector and Elias are honored and their families find some semblance of peace.
It just breaks my heart to read about cases like Hector's and Elias's. I came across an article last night, and it really stuck with me how young both of these men were.
