I've been thinking a lot about the small details surrounding Angel Castillo's life before this tragedy cut it short. It's so touching to hear about his excitement for his new job at his great-uncle's auto body shop. It paints such a vivid picture of a young man filled with hope and ambition, especially knowing he was pushing for straight A’s despite his learning challenges. It must have been such a proud milestone for him and his family. We should never overlook how much courage it takes for young people to overcome personal struggles and strive towards their dreams. It's deeply saddening that Angel's journey was halted so abruptly. I can’t imagine the immense void his absence must have left in the lives of his loved ones and the community. Let's keep his memory alive by focusing on who he was and what he wanted to become, rather than the circumstances of his passing. Thoughts and prayers go out to all affected.
