I was reading up on Damion Allen Henninger’s tragic case and couldn’t help but notice how eerie the crime scene must have been that night. A white Mercedes-Benz found in a dirt field out there by 26th Street East and Avenue J—something about that image really stays with me. I can only imagine what his family is going through, losing him in such an unexpected and violent way. Has anyone in the community heard anything more about why he might have been there or if there were any witnesses? It’s baffling that there are still no leads. Praying for some closure for his loved ones.
Has anyone else been following the case of Damion Allen Henninger? The tragedy that unfolded on January 22, 2021, feels so heavy, especially knowing that Damion was just 20 years old with his whole life ahead of him. Lancaster seems to be pulling together in support, which is heartening, but it’s frustrating that there hasn't been any concrete progress on finding out who did this or why.
Something that has been puzzling me is the location in which Damion was found. His car, a white Mercedes-Benz, was discovered in a dirt field. Does anyone know if that particular area is known for anything specific, or is it usually just vacant land? It seems an unusual place to end up unless there was some reason for being there. I hope the ongoing investigation reveals some answers soon, to bring some peace to Damion’s family. They deserve justice and closure. Let's keep this discussion going and see if there’s anything we as a community can do to support and keep the memory of Damion alive.
