I’ve been thinking a lot about Jose Luis Estrada’s murder and something that really stands out to me is how tight-lipped the community seems to be. I totally get that there’s a fear of speaking out, especially with the concern of retaliation, but it makes me wonder how many potential witnesses might be out there who saw something or even heard something but are staying quiet. It's been challenging for the detectives without more leads. I truly feel for Jose’s family, who must be desperate for answers. They deserve to know what happened to their loved one and to see justice served. If anyone here is from the Lynwood area or knows someone who is, maybe just spreading the word about this case can help jog someone’s memory or inspire them to come forward. Staying hopeful that there'll be a breakthrough, no matter how small it seems. Justice for Jose is what’s needed.
