Has anyone else been following the Miguel Hernandez-Castro case? I've been thinking about the role of community gatherings in all of this. It's so sad to know that such a joyful event turned into a scene of tragedy. It breaks my heart to imagine how those who were just there to have a good time now carry this trauma with them. Makes me wonder how neighborhood events might change because of fears and memories linked to violence. From what I’ve read, gatherings are supposed to be safe spaces for friends and family to enjoy each other's company, but now it feels like anything can happen. It’s crucial for us to keep these spaces safe, maybe more community-driven initiatives or neighborhood watches could help. My thoughts are with Miguel's and Alex’s family and friends, and I hope they find some peace amidst this chaos. Anyone have thoughts on how community events can be made safer while still feeling open and welcoming?
