I was reading about Marvin Hernandez-Yanes’ case, and my heart goes out to his family and friends. What struck me was the location of the incident—a vacant building. It just makes me wonder why Marvin and Samuel were there to begin with. Was it a known hangout spot, or did they just happen to be there by chance? It’s so frustrating that we have such little information on what led to that tragic night. I really hope the police are able to track down more witnesses, or maybe someone who knows anything will come forward to give Marvin’s family some much-needed answers. It’s a stark reminder of how crucial community involvement is in helping solve such cases. Sending my thoughts to everyone affected by this senseless act of violence. Stay strong.

I’ve been thinking a lot about Marvin Hernandez-Yanes and just how random and senseless this violence seems. It’s just so tragic to lose someone at a young age with their whole life ahead of them. I read somewhere that Marvin was known to be such a hardworking and family-oriented person, and it’s devastating that his friends and family are left without answers.
It makes me wonder about Samuel Menjivar-Garcia, the other victim who thankfully survived. Does anyone know if he’s been able to provide any useful information? I can’t imagine the trauma he’s dealing with after witnessing such a horrific event. I just hope he’s getting the support he needs and is able to help shed some light on what happened that night.
My heart goes out to Marvin’s loved ones. They deserve justice and closure. Hopefully, with the community's help, the police can make some headway in this case. If I hear anything new, I’ll make sure to update. Stay safe out there, everyone.
